Morning and Evening Prayer

On the first Sunday in Lent, I referenced Luther's Morning and Evening Prayer in my Message. You can find these in Luther's Small Catechism but in case you don't have a copy, I'm posting the prayers here for your use. The Morning Blessing In the morning, as soon as you get out of bed, you are to make the sign of the holy cross and say:

Spring Forward and Other Reminders

Don't forget daylight savings time. Turn your clocks ahead tonight or you will be late! Inquirers Class will be meeting at 9:30 tomorrow in the narthex. Also, we hope that many of you will be able to join us for lunch in St. Andrew's Hall following 11:00 worship. A huge word of thanks to our Outreach Committee for hosting this event. Retire early tonight. See you in church! Peace, Pastor Mueller

The Adventure Continues

Dear Friends, What an incredible scene on Sunday! In addition to the usual busyness of worship and Christian Education, adults were gathering for education opportunities, a First Communion Workshop, and a college planning seminar. In the meantime, a large group of scouts were gathering in the narthex getting ready to lead us in worship and fellowship. The Spirit was alive and well this past Sunday as we were challenged to take some risks, get out of our comfort zones, and trust that God will give us what we truly need. The adventure continues as Lent rapidly approaches.
