This Wednesday night following our Lenten Dinner at 6:30, we will gather for the first of five Lenten Midweek Services (beginning at 7:30 PM) This week we are privileged to welcome back Pastor K to the pulpit as he speaks of Abraham and Sarah, key people of the promise in the Old Testament who took an unexpected journey of faith in the latter part of their lives. We are part of the blessing God promised to them and through them.
God may one day call some of us to pack our bags and journey in faith. Wherever we are called, God will go before us to prepare the way and with us to provide the guidance we need.
This Friday, we will commend to Almighty God, a fellow journeyer in the faith, St. Andrew's charter member Mary Elyn Moyer who died in Christ's promises yesterday. There will be visitation with the Moyer family here at St. Andrew's on Friday from 11:00 - 11:45 AM with a Memorial Service beginning at noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Andrew's Memorial Fund or to the Peter Becker Community Benevolence Fund. Please keep the Moyer family in your prayers in the days ahead.
"Rest eternal grant them, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon them."
