Thank you

Dear Friends, Once again, on behalf of the leadership of St. Andrew's, thank you to: - those of you who gave of your time, talent, energy, and creativity to this year's Vacation Bible School.  Many of the children are still singing the songs (and adults too!).  What a blessing to provide a great experience of fun and learning for our Sunday School families,  to strengthen our relationship with pre-school families, and to forge new relationships with families in the community we had not met before.  We are truly blessed.  Looking forward to VBS in 2013. - those of you who came out and showed your support this past Saturday as we hosted the annual Lutheran Charities Steeplechase Bike Ride.  There were 84 riders and through their pledges and corporate sponsorships, about $30,000 was raised to bless important ministries here in Southeastern PA. - those of you who helped out moving furniture after worship this past Sunday as we prepare for some important carp

Shifting Gears

  Dear Friends,     As we enter the month of June with confirmations, weddings, graduations, and vacations posted on the calendar, many also embrace a change of pace for the summer weeks ahead.  Even here at St. Andrew's, the calendar looks a little different as many of our leaders seek rest and renewal for the challenges of the months ahead.  However, our calling to lift up Jesus to the community in Worship, Education, and Service remains throughout the year. Worship  -     Thanks be to God for everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes preparing music, communion, food, and fellowship for this past Sunday's confirmation service.  What a celebration!  God's richest blessings to our newly confirmed members:  Ryan Braun, Miles Burger, Nick Griswold, James Kasopsky, Patrick Lewis, Jonathan Mueller, Abby Rissinger, and Jacob Weinberg.  Please keep them in your prayers as they continue to grow in faith as Christ's servants in the world.      We h
