A word of thanks to everyone who worked behind the scenes on this year's Advent Family Night. What an incredible evening for God's children of all ages.Thank you to everyone who shared in crafts, food, laughter, and love. Thank you to everyone who pitched in cleaning up at the end of our night together. And a very special thank you to our Director of Christian Education, Mrs. Nicole Kruvczuk, the Crist family for coordinating dinner, and members of our Christian Education Committee for all of their preparation for this wonderful event. If you missed it, bummer! There's always next year!
We hope to see many of you here, along with family and friends on Saturday December 14 at 5 PM for our Annual Christmas Cantata. Join us for a joy filled hour together featuring special music from the choirs of St. Andrew's (adults, children, bells, chimes, and brass), the Christmas story retold, and beloved hymns sung together. This is a great way to get into the spirit of the season and an opportunity for those of you who will be traveling or have other commitments on Christmas Eve this year to celebrate with your faith community. Bring family members, friends, neighbors, or co-workers for this special night together.
Along with a wonderful celebration of the Christmas season with our choirs on December 14 at 5 PM, we want to invite you to continue celebrating with us downstairs in St. Andrew's Hall
Our Cantata will be followed by a soup supper for anyone in attendance featuring YOUR best soup(or chili)! Feel free to bring a crock pot of your favorite soup or chili for dinner that night. You can leave it downstairs in St. Andrew's Hall before the service. You can also bring a salad or dessert instead. Bread will be provided. Please take crock pots to St. Andrew's Hall prior to the Cantata.
If you are planning to join us, please respond to this e-mail, sign up on the narthex bulletin board, or contact Betty Jane Green ed.bj.green@gmail.com / 610-831-0654 as soon as possible.
We have enjoyed amazing salads, soups, and desserts in the past and some wonderful company. Hope many of you can join us as we extend our evening celebration.
Blessings in this Advent season and in all of your Christmas preparations.
Peace,
Pastor Mueller
