St. Andrew's Music

 

The tradition of musical talent and interest continues to grow. John Rea, the Director of Music, plays on Sunday mornings and holiday services. Our Saturday Communion Service at 5:00 PM provides opportunities for members to perform keyboard music or present vocal pieces.

Senior Choir meets Thursdays from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.  Anyone 15 years of age and older is welcome to join.

You can be a part-timer, meaning you can come when your schedule permits;

You can sit with your family during the service and join the choir at the appropriate time;

Reading music is not required, we'll teach you everything you need to know in a matter of a few weeks.

Senior Bell Choir meets on Thursday from 8:30 PM  to 9:15 PM, right after the Senior Choir. The age group for this choir is 15 years of age and older to join.  NOTE: You do have to read music for this choir (or have a burning desire to learn).

Youth Choir meets on Monday from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM (grades 4 through 9).

Junior Choir meets Thursday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM.  This choir is for children between 3 and 9 years of age.  All in this age group are welcome and encouraged to participate.

Junior Bell Choir meets Thursday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM.  You don't have to know how to read music, we'll teach you. Teamwork is all that is required.

Soulful Strings - If you play guitar, join our contemporary group that leads the congregation in music once a month.  This is usually the second Saturday of the month at the 5:00 PM service.
