As one big group, we get together about once a month for an evening of fun, food and fellowship. We call these gatherings INSAYN (Incredible Nutty Saint Andrew's Youth Night). During the two-hour gathering, we provide a meal and then either have an evening of group activities based on a theme, such as winter games, line dances, etc. or break into our small groups for other fun activities. On occasion, the evening ends with a short worship service, which includes plenty of praise songs. Our goal is to show the youth that the church is a place with open arms for all, as well as a safe, fun place.Additional goals are to teach the youth groups to be service-oriented and willing to reach out to help others. We provide them with many opportunities to reach these goals. Some of the activities they have an opportunity to participate in include:
- Christmas toy drive;
- packing school bags for Lutheran World Relief;
- church clean up;
- soup kitchen.

LAFF
And fun isn't just for the youth, but for entire families. LAFF (Lutherans About Family Fun) is a group created by young families that are members of St. Andrew's to sponsor family-friendly and family-centered social activities.
